SPOTLIGHT
Scientific Director Dr. Wilson's 10th Escape to the Cape with his Boston University (BU) team
This year, he will captain his largest team with over 20 investigators focusing on Alpha-1 research. Alpha and patient Karin Pittsley is joining the team, returning for her 2nd year as a volunteer.
Karin says, “This year, I am honored to be part of Dr. Wilson’s team at BU. He and his team are leading research and working toward finding a cure for Alpha-1. While a few promising and less invasive treatments are on the horizon, the current treatment continues to be weekly infusions. Your donation will help support research to find a cure.” You can join Team Alpha-1 virtually by participating in Riding for a Reason during September.
