Alpha-1 Awareness Month

November is Alpha-1 Awareness Month, a 30-day initiative that encourages the Alpha-1 community to share stories and resources and raise funds to support the search for a cure.

This year, the Alpha-1 Foundation (A1F) proudly commemorates its 30th anniversary. This milestone celebrates and honors the legacy of the many who have made an impact on the Alpha-1 community, especially the patients and families A1F serves.

A1F’s achievements can be attributed to the organization’s ability to bring together a vast network of stakeholders with a patient-focused approach. The dedication of the entire community to A1F’s mission to find a cure for Alpha-1 will continue without faltering for as long as it takes. Please join A1F in recognizing the last 30 years of Insight, Innovation, Investment, and Impact as the journey continues toward a cure for Alpha-1.

A1F Virtual Walk

The A1F Virtual Walk encourages Alphas, friends, and families to walk anywhere, anytime during the month of November in support of Alpha-1 Awareness.

Join a team, form a team, or walk individually. Whether it’s around your dining room table, neighborhood or local park—get moving for Alpha-1!

The A1F Virtual Walk helps support our mission to find a cure for Alpha-1. Funds from this event are used to support research and related programs. Join the challenge by walking or running; set your own goal this November.
