Alpha-1 Awareness Month

November is Alpha-1 Awareness Month—30 days of awareness-focused initiatives, inviting the Alpha-1 community to share stories and resources while raising funds to support the fight for a cure. 

This year’s theme is “Make Your Move for Alpha-1.” Small decisions can make a big impact. Whether your move is posting about Alpha-1 on social media, creating a team and fundraising for the Alpha-1 Virtual Walk or signing up for the Alpha-1 Research Registry to help move research forward – it makes an impact on the Alpha-1 community. 

By joining us during #Alpha1Awareness month in November, you can take part in our mission and “Make Your Move for Alpha-1.” The Foundation is advocating for the entire Alpha-1 community including patients, caregivers, researchers, clinicians, partners, industry, and government, to be involved to achieve our mission of finding a cure. Alpha-1 Virtual Walk

The Alpha-1 Virtual Walk encourages Alphas, friends, and families to walk anywhere, anytime during the month of November in support of Alpha-1 Awareness.

Join a team, form a team, or walk individually. Whether it’s around your dining room table, neighborhood or local park—get moving for Alpha-1!

The Alpha-1 Foundation’s Virtual Walk helps support our mission to find a cure for Alpha-1. Funds from this event are used to support research and related programs. Join the challenge by walking or running; set your own goal this November.
