Alpha-1 Awareness Month

November is Alpha-1 Awareness Month, a 30-day initiative that encourages the Alpha-1 community to share stories and resources and raise funds to support the search for a cure.

Every breakthrough begins with someone taking action. During Alpha-1 Awareness Month this November, we’re celebrating the people making a difference through this year’s theme, “The Future of Alpha-1 is You.” The future of Alpha-1 will be shaped by individuals who participate in research, raise funds, advocate for better care, educate their communities, and support A1F’s mission. Together, we’re building a future with earlier diagnoses, better treatments, and, ultimately, a cure.

A1F Virtual Walk

The A1F Virtual Walk encourages Alphas, friends, and families to walk anywhere, anytime during the month of November in support of Alpha-1 Awareness.

Join a team, form a team, or walk individually. Whether it’s around your dining room table, neighborhood or local park—get moving for Alpha-1!

The A1F Virtual Walk helps support our mission to find a cure for Alpha-1. Funds from this event are used to support research and related programs. Join the challenge by walking or running; set your own goal this November.
