Fred C. Walsh Celebration of Life
We invite you to join us in celebrating the life of Fred Chase Walsh, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, sibling, friend, and colleague, who touched so many lives and hearts. This special gathering will be an opportunity to share stories, memories, music, love and laughter as we honor Fred's remarkable life.
Aside from his abiding love for his family, after being diagnosed with Alpha-1 in 1989, Fred found his purpose. He dedicated himself to the concept of patient empowerment and supporting research to find a cure for Alpha-1. On his 30-year journey with AlphaNet and the Alpha-1 Foundation, he touched many lives, and managed to survive 8+ years after double lung transplant. He was an Alpha warrior who chose never to retire.
