Celebrating 40 Years of the American Lung Association’s (ALA) Escape to the Cape and 28 Years of Partnership with the Alpha-1 Foundation
The Alpha-1 Foundation is proud to participate for the 28th year in the Escape to the Cape Bike Trek on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, from September 27th to 29th, 2024, in collaboration with the American Lung Association (ALA). This event celebrates the ALA’s remarkable 40 years of dedication to lung health and their ongoing commitment to the patient community. A1F marks the 28-year partnership with the ALA, highlighting the shared mission to raise awareness for Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (Alpha-1) and improve the lives of those with respiratory health issues.
Joining Team Alpha-1 is the Alpha-1 community, physicians, researchers, biotech companies, and industry partners for a weekend filled with fun and camaraderie. We are excited to have over 100 riders and volunteers from all over the country participating in person and virtually in the Riding for a Reason campaign. Together, we look forward to a successful and inspiring event to raise awareness and funds for Alpha-1.
